Making net zero a reality for UK ports

ABP, the UK’s leading ports group, had ambitions to make their operations in an industry with an extremely heavy carbon footprint, net zero for carbon emissions by 2040. This is no small task, and required incredible levels of innovation and investment. Under the campaign theme ‘Ready For Tomorrow’, they needed an interactive website to showcase their activity and educate their audiences.

The Challenge

We needed to both tell the story of ABP’s net zero strategy and investment, as well as allowing users to interact with the content to discover.

The Solution

We produced an immersive microsite that used Javascript interactive modules and allowed users to explore the level of investment by ABP in an informative and visually engaging way. A series of videos and Lottie JS animations and videos helped to bring the messages to life on the site.

The Result

The benchmark campaign has been a huge success, with consistent publicity and ABP remains on target it hit it’s ambitious 2040 net zero objective.
