As a marketing communications agency specialising in support for industrial manufacturing companies, Coda needed an identity that would creatively resonate with its clients’ subject matter while celebrating the beauty of precision.

The Challenge

Coda needed an identity that positioned it as the creative specialist in an industry driven by precision and excellence. Their existing branding had become somewhat disjointed and lacked a cohesive voice. The challenge was to craft a new identity that balanced accuracy with their passion for the sector, while enabling the creation of consistently voiced assets.

The Solution

We created a brand language based on a unique combination of line weights, called the Coda Code, which could be duplicated, stacked, and manipulated to generate endless patterns and backgrounds. These ‘remixes’ could exist independently or within imagery, interacting with both subjects and scenes.

This approach gave Coda a distinctive visual language – perfect for a sector focussed on repetition and accuracy.
