Contact lenses that help protect our oceans

Single-use plastics are a significant global issue, and CooperVision have put sustainability and environmental responsibility at the top of their agenda. In partnership with Plastic Bank they managed to make their disposable one-day contact lenses plastic neutral, an amazing achievement, and one which required a global awareness campaign.

The Objective

We needed to help drive awareness on CooperVisions sustainability activity and Plastic Neutrality, so consumers were more positive about the prospect of using one-day contact lenses. We also needed to give eye care practitioners and private label suppliers the tools to delight their patients and provide a promote the achievement.

The Solution

We developed a highly visual campaign alongside Loveable Creative which aligned with the CooperVision watercolour brand world, which is clear, simple and powerful – a celebration of the sea. Our visuals took the natural beauty of the oceans and marine life, and visually and artistically portrayed is in all it’s majesty.
