Pleese’s delicious products are not only innovative and unique, but they have the wow factor and look amazing. In 2023 Pleese Group decided to rebrand, alongside launching their first consumer product, Freezecakes. Armed with their new product range, passion for innovation, and a strong community following, they began their mission to become the world’s most exciting new dessert brand.

The Challenge

While they had cultivated a very strong social following by creating amazing and unusual concoctions on social media, the objective was to diversify the product range and extend their appeal to a broader consumer market, whilst differentiating from established household names such as Haagen Dazs and Ben & Jerry’s.

The Solution

The competition largely adopt a classical and traditional aesthetic. Whilst many explore innovative flavour variations, they play it safe with their appearance. The rebrand positioned the product as a bold, edgy, disruptive challenger brand that has a personal feel, and amplified the creativity of the business with a hand drawn mish-mash aesthetic.
